Course Overview
The sky is the limit in the world of architectural design.
Let’s discuss the tallest buildings in the world, how they are built, and what keeps them from falling down. We will dive into the world of skyscrapers through the use of drawings, collage, and construction to better understand how skyscrapers continue to grow taller and taller.
Student Outcomes:
- Students will gain an understanding of engineering, design, and how they work together.
- Students will use their own ingenuity and knowledge to build their own model of a skyscraper.
Your Teacher: Molly Goecke
Molly Goecke has worked as an instructor of Architecture and Design for over 20 years. She started her journey by participating in the inception and pilot program of the Architectural Education for Children Program at AIA Colorado. She has continued to share her passion for education of architecture for children through her teachings worldwide both online and in person. She received her Master’s of Architecture at the University of Colorado and her Bachelor’s of Environmental Design at Miami University.
